Scott BuddTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. My wife (Ruth) and I joined Bikestyle tours on their 2025 Vuelta Espana Tour. Having had a really positive experience with Bikestyle on the 2011 TdF tour, we were confident that this tour would also be great, but I have to say it exceeded expectations. Firstly, the hotels were exceptional. I can only imagine how hard it was to find suitable accommodation for a group in some of these out of the way regions. The Las Caldas hotel and the Monastery at Santo Estevo were standouts but all of the hotels were great and a step up from our last tour. Secondly, we loved our guides, Eric and Claire. They were truly extraordinary and we were so lucky to have them guide us around. The group on this tour was quite small (only seven people) and so there was even more pressure on them, as they were spending a lot more time in contact with each of us. We thoroughly enjoyed their company, not just as guides but as great people. I was particularly grateful for the extra kindness and attention that Claire showed to Ruth (as the only female rider in the group and who was very self conscious about not wanting to hold people up). Claire did an amazing job of managing a variety of different riding abilities which, in a small group, was much more challenging. Thirdly, the organisation and logistics were great. The whole tour went seamlessly, even with unexpected events such as the protests that occurred. It was also great that Eric was able to wangle us into a team bus and have some contact with the Teams which was very special. There was a very good balance between riding and watching the race in the various locations and we felt that we saw as much of the race as we needed to. All in all, we had a great time. We are already looking ahead for our next one. Thanks again to Adam and the whole team. Scott ButlerTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Thanks Eric, Claire and the Bikestyle crew for a wonderful La Vuelta trip this year. The itinerary, hotels and group dinners were all first class. Thanks especially to Claire for her support in getting to the top of L’Angliru. Definitely one to tick off the bucket list! Greg TannerTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We loved every minute of our recent 2025 La Vuelta trip with my wife attending as a non-riding spectator. Eric & Claire were fantastic guides / friends throughout our Spanish journey with Sue becoming a quasi member of the Bikestyle team. We would highly recommend Bikestyle Tours to anyone considering their 1st cycling tour either as a rider or spectator. John JohnsonTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. This BikeStlye Tour was a fantastic experience! The staff was extraordinary, the accommodations superb, the scenery beautiful, and cycling challenging. I would do it again in a heartbeat. Craig DavisTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Update: Another great trip in 2025! Update: Tour de France Femmes 2023 was THE BEST. Thanks Adam, Petra, Sophie and especially Alex who rode up Tourmelet 3 times in a day to help us. Photo is Pic de Nore, gorgeous riding. Bikestyle are an absolute pleasure to travel with. Friendly, easy to get on with and really know their stuff. They're organised but flexible so everything happens but always in a relaxed laid back way. Another highlight is the great people they seem to attract, I've always met people I really like to ride with and travel with in bikestyle groups. The trips I've done with bikestyle have been some of my best memories and I look forward to travelling with them again in the future. Faye GoodyearTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Tour was very well organised and accomodation and food was good with dietary requirements dealt with well. Amazing rides and scenery. Hope to return soon! Highly recommended Michael RoyalTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. To all cycling enthusiasts out there, do yourself a favour and book a cycling adventure with BIKESTYLE TOURS. It is just an amazing experience. I was very much looking forward to the last week of the Tour de France 2025 in the months leading up to event, but when it was actually happening it was so much better than I imagined. Everything about the event was superb. The planning that goes into an event such as this is a credit to Adam and his sensational crew of people on the ground to make it an unforgettable time. I could not fault anything on the tour. They had thought of everything and were flexible and accommodating along the way. Meals, accommodation, cycle routes, transport, bikes and knowledge transfer from the staff were all first class. Being in the French Alps is a majestic experience and to be able to check out the landscape on a bike is incredible. I would like to think I can do something like this again. Having done it once it, it is most tempting to give another tour ago in the not too distant future. Fabulous time!! Michael J Royal Jodie HTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I have just completed the 2022 Giro Tour with Bikestyle. What a fantastic experience. From when I first contacted Adam, we had to battle through covid and lockdown. He was so accommodating and supportive. On the trip he is the perfect tour leader and guide, cool, calm, fun and generous with his time. He is well backed up by ex pro Eric De Clerc, super experienced, interested in talking about his life as a rider but also yours. Diego is Adam’s go to man for Italy, fluent in 4 languages, the most helpful guy who is so passionate about cycling and his country. Bruno was our driver, so good to have Frenchman along. Couldn’t get a better driver but also fun to be around and do anything for you. I achieved my goal of climbing the Stelvio on a brilliant day along with some other fabulous climbs. But more than that, we watched the Giro racing through villages and finally culminating in the arena in Verona with a win to Jai Hindley. Seems Adam can organise anything, weather and a spectacular Giro win too. Thanks guys, can’t recommend you enough. Mike BrookerTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. This was a great trip. There is nothing like doing bucket list climbs in Europe and having all the logistics sorted for you, and a great bunch of people to ride with. This was the 4th Bikestyle trip I’ve been on (each different) and each time on my own. Every time the trips are well organised, the guides are really good (exceptional experience- how often do you get to ride with a 5x TdF finisher!) and the other guests are always ‘likeminded’ and good fun. Thanks BS. dchuffmanTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We just returned from Bikestyle Tours Spectator Tour for the Tour de France. It was an amazing experience and Bikestyle had every aspect of the trip planned to perfection. The transport, the hotels, the dinners, and our two exceptional tour hosts made this trip such a pleasure. We recommend them completely and without qualification! Thank you Bikestyle for the trip of a lifetime!Google rating score: 5.0 of 5, based on 105 reviews

Piedmont Countryside and Novi Ligure Stage Finish
Your first full day on the bike unfolds in the heart of the Piedmont wine country, a region shaped by vineyards, quiet lanes, and gentle climbs that ease you beautifully into Giro rhythm. After breakfast, we roll out from Alba, tracing winding roads through terraced hillsides and medieval villages perched above the valleys. It is northern Italy at its most authentic, serene, scenic, and made for cyclists.
Today offers two ride options.
The shorter loop guides you through the iconic wine towns of Barolo and La Morra, peaceful roads and steady gradients helping you find your legs as you settle into the trip. The longer option dives deeper into the Langhe, climbing toward Monforte d’Alba and looping back via Serralunga, a more challenging route with bigger elevation but unforgettable views. Whichever you choose, this first ride delivers the full charm of Piedmont’s rolling terrain.
After returning to Alba for lunch and a reset, we drive to Novi Ligure for your first live stage finish of the Giro. The atmosphere is electric as crowds gather, the caravan rolls through, and the pace of the peloton intensifies in the final kilometres. You’ll be close enough to feel the power, the tension, and the speed that defines Italy’s greatest race.
We return to Alba in the early evening, where the night is yours to dine out and explore the town’s culinary gems at your leisure.
- Ride the Langhe wine region: Barolo, La Morra, and Monforte d’Alba — world-class scenery on quiet country roads.
- Choose your challenge: Short, steady climbs or a longer, more demanding loop through the hills.

The Giro Roars Through Lombardia
Today’s adventure blends gentle riding, Giro atmosphere, and a taste of Piedmont’s finest reds. After breakfast we roll out of Alba and ride point-to-point toward Alessandria, following smooth, flowing terrain across the lower Piedmont plains. Wide-open farmland, quiet roads, and small village crossings make this a beautifully calm transition ride as we edge closer to the heart of the Giro.
As Alessandria comes into view, the mood shifts. The roads thicken with fans, media cars, team vehicles, and that unmistakable hum of pre-race tension. Approaching a Giro stage start from the saddle is something special, the excitement builds with every kilometre.
At the start village, you’ll have time to explore freely. Watch riders sign on, wander between team buses, observe last-minute bike checks, and take in the rituals that define a race morning. Few sporting events bring you this close to the stars and the action.
Once the peloton rolls out, we board the coach for a comfortable return to Alba. After a freshen-up at the hotel, we head to a local winery for a relaxed tasting of the region’s celebrated reds, the perfect way to unwind after the morning’s ride and race buzz.
The evening is yours to enjoy in Alba, with its narrow cobbled streets, wine bars, and inviting restaurants offering endless options.
- Point-to-point ride to a Giro stage start, gliding across the Piedmont plains to Alessandria.

Lakeside Beauty and a Pilgrimage to Madonna del Ghisallo
Today we journey north from Alba into one of Italy’s most iconic cycling landscapes, the Lake Como region, where steep forested hills, shimmering water, and elegant villas create a postcard-perfect setting for an unforgettable ride.
After breakfast, we transfer to Como and roll out along the lakeshore, following a smooth, scenic route through charming villages perched between water and mountain. The pace is unhurried, letting you soak in every viewpoint and enjoy the unique atmosphere of Italy’s most celebrated lake.
Our mid-ride stop is in Bellagio, the jewel of Como. Over a relaxed coffee, take a moment to enjoy the cobbled laneways, waterfront views, and classic Italian charm before we begin one of cycling’s most meaningful ascents.
From Bellagio, the road pitches upward toward Madonna del Ghisallo, a climb woven into the history and mythology of the sport. The gradient is steady and the views extraordinary, but the summit is what makes this ride unforgettable. We visit the Ghisallo chapel and museum, home to jerseys, bikes, and stories from cycling’s greatest champions. It’s a pilgrimage for riders, a connection to the soul of the sport.
After exploring this historic site, we continue on to our hotel nestled in the Como hills. Tonight we share dinner in a beautiful setting overlooking the lake, the perfect way to unwind after a day filled with scenery, heritage, and the pure joy of Italian riding.

From Lakeside Serenity to the Foot of the Dolomites
After several rewarding days of riding and race action, today shifts into a gentler rhythm as we transition from the calm beauty of Lake Como to the dramatic peaks of the Dolomites. The morning is deliberately easy: relax at the hotel, enjoy a slow breakfast, and let your legs recover while our staff prepare the bus and load bikes for the next chapter of the Giro Classico.
As we leave the lakes behind, the scenery evolves kilometre by kilometre. The air cools, the valleys tighten, and soon the jagged limestone towers of the Dolomites rise into view. It’s a spectacular journey north, the kind that builds anticipation as each mountain pass and alpine village signals that we’re entering one of the world’s most iconic cycling regions.
By early afternoon we reach Moena, a peaceful alpine town surrounded by towering peaks and forested slopes. After check-in, the rest of the day is yours to unwind. Wander the village, relax with a coffee in the crisp mountain air, or simply enjoy the stillness before the climbing begins. This pause is perfectly timed, ensuring you arrive fresh and ready for the next stage of your adventure.
In the evening we gather for a relaxed dinner at the hotel, a chance to reconnect, refuel, and look ahead to the legendary terrain waiting just beyond the valley.
- Scenic journey from Lake Como to the Dolomites, watching the landscape transform into towering alpine peaks.

Conquer the Legendary Sellaronda
Today delivers one of the defining moments of your Giro Classico, a chance to ride the world-famous Sellaronda, a spectacular loop that strings together four iconic Dolomite passes in one unforgettable circuit. After breakfast we roll out from Moena and head straight into the heart of the high mountains. The landscape is dramatic from the outset, towering limestone cliffs rising above deep valleys and perfectly engineered switchbacks drawing us higher toward the sky.
Each pass offers its own character, rhythm, and reward. The gradients are steady but honest, the corners smooth and sweeping, and the views expand with every metre gained. The Sellaronda has featured in countless Giro stages and stands as one of cycling’s true pilgrimages. Riding it yourself is equal parts challenge and exhilaration, with moments of quiet satisfaction as you find your tempo and absorb scenery that feels almost unreal.
After closing the loop, we return to Moena for a well-earned afternoon of rest. The hotel’s pool and spa become welcome companions, offering the perfect recovery after a significant day of climbing. Whether you choose a swim, a stretch, or simply a quiet moment in the crisp mountain air, this is your time to unwind after one of the trip’s great rides.
In the evening we gather for dinner at the hotel, sharing stories, laughs, and a deep sense of achievement. A true Dolomite classic, and a day you’ll remember long after the tour ends.

Ride the Classic Dolomite Duo: Passo Rolle & Passo San Pellegrino
We ease into the morning before rolling out on a stunning loop that showcases two of the Dolomites’ most celebrated climbs, Passo Rolle and Passo San Pellegrino. These ascents are woven deeply into Giro d’Italia history, offering a perfect blend of flowing switchbacks, steady gradients, and unforgettable alpine views.
Leaving Moena, we follow quiet forested roads that open gradually into broad meadows and mountain vistas. The approach to Passo Rolle invites a smooth, settled tempo as the terrain rises gently at first, then more consistently as we near the summit. The reward is immediate: sweeping panoramas of jagged Dolomite peaks and rolling high pastures stretching into the distance.
Our loop continues toward Passo San Pellegrino, a steeper and more demanding ascent that offers a satisfying test for the legs. This climb feels raw and alpine, quiet roads, crisp air, and scenery that grows more dramatic with every turn. Cresting the top brings a great sense of accomplishment before we begin a flowing descent through peaceful valleys all the way back to Moena.
The afternoon is yours to unwind. Enjoy the hotel spa, take a gentle walk through the village, or simply relax after a day rich in altitude and scenery. This pause prepares you perfectly for the days ahead.
We reunite in the evening for dinner at the hotel, sharing stories from a big day in the Dolomites and celebrating another memorable chapter of the Giro Classico.
- Ride two iconic Giro climbs, tackling both Passo Rolle and the steeper, more challenging Passo San Pellegrino.
- Spectacular Dolomite scenery, from meadows and forests to panoramic summits and dramatic limestone peaks.
- Relaxed afternoon back in Moena, with time to recover and enjoy the village or hotel facilities.

Conquer the Icons: Passo Fedaia & Passo Pordoi
Today we venture deeper into the Dolomites for one of the most memorable riding days of the entire Giro Classico. After breakfast, we roll out from Moena toward two legendary ascents that define the spirit and challenge of high-mountain cycling: Passo Fedaia and Passo Pordoi.
The approach to Passo Fedaia begins gently, climbing through forests and small alpine hamlets before the road tips upward into its famous upper slopes. The final kilometres are unforgettable—steep, dramatic, and framed by the imposing south face of the Marmolada. It’s a climb that demands concentration and grit, yet rewards you with one of the Dolomites’ most remarkable views. A brief pause at the top allows you to soak in the spectacle before we continue across the high plateau.
Next comes Passo Pordoi, a true icon of the Giro d’Italia. Its perfectly carved switchbacks and broad vistas make it both majestic and deeply satisfying to ride. Near the summit stands the memorial to Fausto Coppi, a powerful reminder of the climb’s place in cycling legend. Cresting Pordoi brings a sense of connection to the champions who have battled here for decades.
For those seeking a gentler day, a shorter option follows the scenic bike path to Canazei and back, offering beautiful valley riding without the major climbs.
We return to Moena in the afternoon, rolling back into the village with both big climbs and big memories in the legs. The remainder of the day is free to relax, recover, or enjoy a quiet moment in the mountains.
Tonight’s dinner brings the group together once more, with a touch of anticipation in the air as we prepare for tomorrow’s transfer south to catch Stage 18 of the Giro d’Italia.
- Ride two Giro legends, conquering both Passo Fedaia’s dramatic ramps and Passo Pordoi’s historic switchbacks.
- Experience the heart of the Dolomites, from Marmolada’s towering cliffs to sweeping alpine panoramas.

Rolling into the Veneto & Stage 18 Race Action
Today we shift gears, both literally and figuratively, as we leave the dramatic Dolomites and make our way south to the foothills of Monte Grappa. After breakfast we load the bus and begin the scenic transfer, watching the sharp limestone spires gradually soften into broad valleys, vineyards, and rolling countryside. By the time we reach Borso del Grappa, the landscape feels warmer, calmer, and perfectly suited to a different style of riding.
Once settled in, we prepare the bikes and set out on a beautiful loop through the Veneto countryside. Quiet rural roads, gentle rises, and sweeping views make for an enjoyable and relaxed ride after days of major mountain passes. This terrain is all about flow, steady pedalling, open horizons, and the soft hum of early summer.
Post-ride, we turn our attention back to the Giro. Instead of climbing Grappa with the crowds, we position ourselves closer to the Stage 18 finish near Pieve di Soligo, where the energy is electric. The crowd swells, the caravan bursts through in a riot of colour, and anticipation builds as the peloton barrels toward the line. You’ll feel the speed, the tension, and the raw intensity of the race’s decisive moments.
After the finish, we return to our accommodation near Monte Grappa. Tonight is yours, enjoy a quiet dinner in the village or a relaxed meal at the hotel as you unwind from a vibrant day of riding and race viewing.
- Ride the rolling Veneto countryside, a refreshing contrast to the Dolomite giants.
- Experience the excitement of a Giro stage finish, close enough to feel the rush of the peloton.

Riding to the Feltre Stage Start & A Relaxed Veneto Afternoon
Today we continue our exploration of the Veneto with a beautiful ride north toward Feltre, one of the Giro’s most historic and atmospheric host towns. After breakfast we roll out from the hotel along gentle foothills and quiet rural roads, the perfect terrain for an enjoyable morning spin. Broad valleys, vineyards, and open countryside guide us toward the mountains, offering a scenic route that’s easy to settle into.
On arrival in Feltre, the energy shifts instantly. The Giro stage start is buzzing: riders signing on, soigneurs making final preparations, mechanics checking every detail, and fans leaning over the barriers to catch a glimpse of their favourites. You’ll have plenty of time to walk through the start village, explore, take photos, and soak in the unique pre race rituals that unfold before the peloton rolls out.
After the stage departs, the day becomes flexible. You can ride back to the hotel for a satisfying return loop, or hop on the bus for a relaxed afternoon, ideal if you’d like a little downtime after a busy sequence of big days.
The rest of the afternoon and evening are free for you to enjoy. Explore the village, savour a glass of local Veneto wine, or simply unwind with a quiet meal. This easygoing finish to the day gives you space to recharge before the final chapter of your Giro Classico adventure.

Queen Stage Spectacle at Piancavallo
Today delivers one of the most anticipated highlights of your Giro Classico journey. The Queen Stage has arrived, and we’ll place ourselves at a decisive point near the base of the final climb to witness the GC battle ignite in real time.
After breakfast we ride from the hotel, rolling through gentle foothills on a scenic route toward Aviano. The terrain is smooth and flowing, giving you time to warm the legs while the anticipation grows with every kilometre. Ahead, the mountains rise sharply and the unmistakable buzz of race day fills the air.
As we near the base of the final climb, the atmosphere transforms. Fans line the roadside, the caravan rolls through in a burst of noise and colour, and helicopters begin hovering above the slopes. We choose a prime viewing position where we can settle in, watch the stage unfold, and feel the tension build. When the race arrives, the moment is electric. The GC contenders will launch their final attacks here, fighting for seconds, pride, and the Maglia Rossa. The speed, intensity, and raw effort in this section are unforgettable.
Once the last riders pass and the excitement begins to settle, we return to the hotel by bus, giving everyone a comfortable trip back after a thrilling roadside experience. The afternoon is yours to relax, unwind, or simply reflect on what you’ve just witnessed. This evening we share dinner at the hotel, swapping stories and gearing up for the final ride of the trip tomorrow.

Monte Grappa: A Grand Finale on a Historic Giant
Our final full day together features one of the great climbs of Italian cycling, Your final full day of riding brings a truly memorable climax: Monte Grappa, one of Italy’s most storied and revered climbs. After breakfast we roll out from the hotel and begin our approach toward its forested lower slopes, where the gradient eases you into the effort before steepening into a determined ascent.
As the road narrows and the switchbacks multiply, the climb reveals its character. The middle section lifts you high above the treeline, and the views begin to open into sweeping vistas across the Veneto plains. Here, Grappa becomes unmistakably majestic. Long ridgeline ramps, exposed panoramas, and the quiet echo of history accompany every pedal stroke. It’s a demanding ascent, but one that rewards steady pacing, strong legs, and a love of the mountains. Whether you choose the shorter or longer option, Monte Grappa is the perfect finale, a climb that stays with you long after the summit.
After regrouping at the top and savouring the moment, we descend back toward the hotel. The afternoon is yours to unwind. Enjoy a drink on the terrace, stretch out tired legs, or stroll through the village while staff assist with bike preparation and packing ahead of tomorrow’s departure.
In the evening we come together for our Farewell Dinner, a warm, celebratory night to reflect on an unforgettable journey. From Dolomite icons to thrilling Giro roadside moments, this final gathering captures the spirit of shared adventure that has defined the trip.
