Madrid’s Art District

La Vuelta’s traditional finish takes place on the elegant Paseo de la Castellana, a grand avenue which can be compared to the Champs Elysées in Paris. It is only a short transfer to Madrid today. When we arrive, we will offer a short ride around Madrid. Our scenic ride will take in sections of today’s course and the World Championships course when Madrid hosted the road championships.

After finishing our ride and completing our hotel check-in, we head over to the Paseo de la Castellana. The race should finish in its traditional place near the Plaza de Cibeles and it will be your choice as to how you spend your day. The riders traditionally enter the Paseo de la Castellana around 4 pm and the race finishes around 5.15pm.

After the race, there will be plenty of time to see the Jerseys presentation to the overall winners and peruse the team vehicles before returning to the hotel or continuing onto a restaurant for dinner.
