Mountain finale

Today is the final mountain stage of the tour and is again a short stage. Every move will be closely watched, the high intensity will captivate fans. We’ll head off before the riders and secure a spot near one of the summits to watch the race. There are two technical descents on the race course that will make it important to stay at the front of the race.

We’ll travel up the scenic Cormet de Roselend and watch the riders launch their attacks near its summit. Our hospitality crew will step into gear and have an area for you to enjoy watching the race live on TV and seeing the riders come through. You will be able to watch every moment through to the finish before we return to our hotel for our final farewell dinner. Another day among the mountains, take a short stroll for that perfect picture. Our cycling comrades will join us to watch the race together.

After the winner has been decided, we’ll avoid the traffic-jams of the final climb and head back to our hotel for a special farewell dinner, leaving tomorrow night free in Paris.

TODAY IN THE RACE
Stage 20: Albertville to Val Thorens, Mountain, 131 km

A third summit finish above 2,000m creates the theatre for the final alpine stage, and the final opportunity for the yellow jersey. The total ascent for the day approaches 4,500m, but negotiating some of the windy descents may prove the difference.
