Pont du Gard, watch the race live

We will wake this morning with a hint of excitement as we experience our first encounter of the Tour de France, live. We’ll catch the race twice today, enjoy a ride to one of the UNESCO World Heritage listed sites and be looked after by our hospitality crew.

From our hotel we will travel across the Rhône river into the Gard department for today’s stage. Soon after leaving from Nîmes, the peloton will cross the Roman aqueduct, Pont du Gard. We’ll watch the race early on in the stage and then go and see Pont du Gard. Once we have our own pictures of the aquaduct, we’ll head over to another part of the race route.

You won’t miss the action of today’s race as our hospitality crew will secure a position on course and give you live television coverage as it unfolds. After the race has finished, we’ll travel back to our hotel. Today will be memorable for its scenery, historic sites and the buzz of chasing the Tour de France.

TODAY IN THE RACE
Stage 16: Nîmes to Nîmes, Flat, 177 km

Today’s stage will be for the sprinters and is entirely within the department of Gard. The highlight of the parcours will be the peloton riding over the famous Pont du Gard.
