Welcome to Aveyron
This morning we will meet up with guests who will join us for the final two weeks of the Tour. After meeting up with our new arrivals we make a short transfer into the Aveyron region, part of the Central Massif. We’ll reacquaint with our bikes and join guests for their short warm up ride.
The roads around the Aveyron are some of the most quiet roads in France. Our ride crosses the Aveyron river a couple of times, before returning back to our hotel. The river has gorged its path through the host rock so we’ll be able to enjoy some great views combined with a little climbing.
Tonight we’ll have dinner together and an accompanying drink. A great social opportunity to meet your fellow guests and additional staff.

Rest Day 1: Albi
Albi hosts an annual cyclo-touring event and the 2017 UCI World Gran Fondo Championships were decided here under the backdrop of its grand brick Cathedrale Sainte-Cécile, noted as the largest freestanding brick building in the world. Massage, rest and an ‘easy 90km’ ride will be on the agenda for riders.
