This morning we’ll speed our way across France in comfort by fast train. If you haven’t travelled by fast train before, you’ll find this truly remarkable. Reaching speeds in excess of 320 km/h, you’ll soon arrive in Toulouse.
On arrival in Toulouse, you can explore “ville rose”, the pink city coined to describe the unique appearance of the buildings made of pinkish terracotta bricks. Toulouse is a vibrant city with a young population thanks to its multiple universities and strong technology industry. A city that is easy to enjoy. Visit Capitole de Toulouse and the Abbey of Saint-Sernin to admire the terracotta architecture. The area around Esquirol has many great shops and restaurants.
To make life easier, we’ll transport your large luggage and bicycle to Toulouse for you. It will be much slower than you, so take a day off the bike and rest your legs for the riding that is ahead.
