After breakfast this morning we’ll transfer to our next hotel, from where we’ll start our rides. Both rides will intersect with the famous course of today’s Giro d’Italia stage and watch the race on the important climb to Colma di Sormano. If you’d like to challenge yourself on something more difficult, you can reach the summit on the Muro di Sormano. If you had any doubt, Muro means “wall”. The 2 km path averages 14 %, but the first 200 m is flat, so it’s closer to 16-17% average.
After seeing the race, we’ll descend back to our hotel, arriving in time to see the final moments on television. A classic finish on some of the most famous cycling roads in Italy. Tonight we’ll have dinner together at our 4-star hotel, a renovated castle.

Stage 15: Ivrea to Como, ****, 237km
From the shortest stage to the longest, the race travel across the Po Plain before reaching the scenic Como region, home of the Lombardy monument race. The final 80km of the route follows the classic course up Ghisallo and Colma di Sormano.
