The closest international airport is Barcelona, which is approximately 1 hr 30 minutes drive to Girona, with private transfers easy to arrange. Budget airline Ryanair has several flights daily from London Luton and Stansted airports direct to Girona Costa Brava airport, located 12 kms from the city centre.

Once you are settled in to the hotel we’ll give you a hand to assemble your bike, or set you up with your Bikestyle rental bike. For those that arrive early enough we can schedule an easy ride of 35 kms through the local farmland west of Girona to help you loosen up and make sure everything is in working order.
Tonight we’ll have a group dinner in a local restaurant close to our hotel to welcome everyone and answer any questions you may have about your trip. The Girona region is home to some of Spain’s, and Europe’s, finest restaurants and tonight you can sample the local Catalan cuisine.
