This afternoon, we'll have a short warm-up ride to the Adelaide beaches and have you back in time to see the exciting Down Under Classic, conveniently just across the road from our hotel.
Adelaide Hills and Beautiful Towns
Explore the Adelaide Hills — Coffee Stops, Bakeries and more than 100km if you wish.

It's a rest day for the professional teams. We'll probably see some of the teams out on the roads ourselves.
We'll explore the Adelaide Hills with its beautiful villages and charming streets. Riders and non-riders will meet up at various times and share the experience.
Our final stop will be a lunch location in the hills celebrating the fine local produce. It will be a casual affair, and a great way to meet your fellow travelers or ask staff questions about your bike tour to the Santos Tour Down Under.
We have many ride options from which you can choose today. There are designated shortcuts and ride extensions available at various points.
Barossa Valley and Tanunda Stage
Explore Barossa Valley — a private wine tasting and welcome lunch on course, plus the surprising Whispering Wall.

This morning we will explore the Southern Barossa Valley. In the cool of the morning we will complete our ride, visiting the secrets of the Whispering Wall.
Once those on the other side of the wall have heard our secret, we'll make our way to today's stage start in Tanunda, among the infamous Barossa Vines.
We have a special treat for you today after the riders roll out. We'll congregate in our private function room, on race course and enjoy the air conditioning, some wine tasting and a 3 course lunch with wines.
After lunch and our fill, we can step outside and see the stage finish as well. It will be a memorable way to see the first stage of the 2020 Santos Tour Down Under.
Stirling Finish and Stage Start
Taste Adelaide Hills boutique producers. Take Norton Summit to race start, then Stirling for an exciting finish.

If you're up for a challenge today, you can spend much of it on the bike. Start with a ride up Norton summit and through the Adelaide Hills to the stage start in Woodside.
For our non-riders, or if you'd like to rest your legs we'll drive you to Woodside. After the start we have alternative routes to arrive in Stirling for the exciting circuit finish.
Regularly appearing on the Santos Tour Down Under, Stirling is a wonderful finish location, and a pop-up market highlight the local wares.
After the finish, you may like to ride back to our hotel, it's pretty much downhill all the way!
Ride Corkscrew and Inglewood Sprints
Catch today's stage multiple times as the valuable sprint points accumulate — we'll ride corkscrew road

We'll enjoy the shade and cool air this morning heading out under the canopy of Gorge Road. If we're lucky we may even spot a koala. Before climbing too far, we'll make a diversion up Corkscrew, a short and challenging climb. Pain is only short lived.
Our long and short rides will split at the top as the shorter ride takes more direct route to watch the race. Our long ride explores some more remote areas of the Adelaide Hills before catching up with the race.
We'll see the race multiple times including all of the sprints and the stage finish in Paracombe. Our non-riders will also be able to see the stage start while enjoying a nice morning coffee.
Challenge Tour or Historic Hahndorf
Tough choices today! Ride the Challenge Tour or take it a little easier and visit Historic Hahndorf.

Register for the Challenge Tour and we will transport you and your bike with our professional bike carriers to the start. There are 3 distances to choose. After the stage finish our private transfer will have you back at race headquarters in no time.
For something a little easier and for our non-riders we will see the stage start before heading off to Hahndorf. You can spend some time exploring the shops and wonderful cafes.
We have transport taking guests to see today's finish in Murray Bridge as well.
Legends’ Dinner, Victor Harbor Finish
Indulge at tonight's Legends' Dinner, see the great stage finish in Victor Harbor on the Fleurieu Peninsula.

We recommend attending the gala dinner this evening, the Santos Tour Down Under Legends' Night Dinner. Hosted by the familiar voices of Matthew Keenan and Phil Liggett, they interview the cycling stars and recognise the history of the biggest cycling race in Australia. After making your trip deposit, our team will provide details for how you can book the extras.
This morning we will venture down the Fleurieu Peninsula to ultimately see the stage finish in Victor Harbour on the water's edge. We have a challenging ride and an easier option for you to choose.
For our non-riders and spectators we'll visit Goolwa and Port Elliot before the race arrives.
Willunga Hill Finish, Private Function
A trip highlight — our private function area close to the finish on Old Willunga Hill, the final stage.

The traditional Old Willunga Hill stage coincides with Australia Day. Santos Tour Down Under 2020 final stage will attract record crowds. On arrival at the finish area you can relax with a gourmet bbq including wine, beer and ciders.
Our riders will first meet up with our non-riders and spectators at McLaren Vale for the stage start. We have a ride through the main range to challenge our strong riders or take the Pat Jonker bike way for a flatter route.
After seeing the start, we head off for our own assault of Old Willunga Hill.
Guests can depart this evening from Adelaide, plan your departure after 7pm. Alternatively, stay the extra day and relax this evening in Adelaide and enjoy the national holiday tomorrow.
Santos Tour Down Under Stages
Santos TDU 2020 will have a total of 6 stages, plus the Down Under Classic. See the race everyday.
Adelaide is a great place for this cycling event, and a great place to ride.
A city large enough to have all of the facilities you could want.
But it is also small enough for cyclists to take-over the precinct for an entire week.
Ride the Santos Tour Down Under 2020
Last year we saw the famous Old Willunga Hill stage move to Stage 6, the final day. It created an exciting finish and the atmosphere was incredible. Our guests enjoy a privately catered gourmet BBQ at the finish area. We get you there to witness the celebration of the winners of the Santos Tour Down Under.
The week-long event brings the top World Tour professional cycling teams to race on the streets of Adelaide and regional South Australia each January. Up for grabs are important UCI World Tour points and the Santos Tour Down Under Ochre Leader’s Jersey.
