Scott BuddTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. My wife (Ruth) and I joined Bikestyle tours on their 2025 Vuelta Espana Tour. Having had a really positive experience with Bikestyle on the 2011 TdF tour, we were confident that this tour would also be great, but I have to say it exceeded expectations. Firstly, the hotels were exceptional. I can only imagine how hard it was to find suitable accommodation for a group in some of these out of the way regions. The Las Caldas hotel and the Monastery at Santo Estevo were standouts but all of the hotels were great and a step up from our last tour. Secondly, we loved our guides, Eric and Claire. They were truly extraordinary and we were so lucky to have them guide us around. The group on this tour was quite small (only seven people) and so there was even more pressure on them, as they were spending a lot more time in contact with each of us. We thoroughly enjoyed their company, not just as guides but as great people. I was particularly grateful for the extra kindness and attention that Claire showed to Ruth (as the only female rider in the group and who was very self conscious about not wanting to hold people up). Claire did an amazing job of managing a variety of different riding abilities which, in a small group, was much more challenging. Thirdly, the organisation and logistics were great. The whole tour went seamlessly, even with unexpected events such as the protests that occurred. It was also great that Eric was able to wangle us into a team bus and have some contact with the Teams which was very special. There was a very good balance between riding and watching the race in the various locations and we felt that we saw as much of the race as we needed to. All in all, we had a great time. We are already looking ahead for our next one. Thanks again to Adam and the whole team. Scott ButlerTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Thanks Eric, Claire and the Bikestyle crew for a wonderful La Vuelta trip this year. The itinerary, hotels and group dinners were all first class. Thanks especially to Claire for her support in getting to the top of L’Angliru. Definitely one to tick off the bucket list! Greg TannerTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We loved every minute of our recent 2025 La Vuelta trip with my wife attending as a non-riding spectator. Eric & Claire were fantastic guides / friends throughout our Spanish journey with Sue becoming a quasi member of the Bikestyle team. We would highly recommend Bikestyle Tours to anyone considering their 1st cycling tour either as a rider or spectator. John JohnsonTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. This BikeStlye Tour was a fantastic experience! The staff was extraordinary, the accommodations superb, the scenery beautiful, and cycling challenging. I would do it again in a heartbeat. Craig DavisTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Update: Another great trip in 2025! Update: Tour de France Femmes 2023 was THE BEST. Thanks Adam, Petra, Sophie and especially Alex who rode up Tourmelet 3 times in a day to help us. Photo is Pic de Nore, gorgeous riding. Bikestyle are an absolute pleasure to travel with. Friendly, easy to get on with and really know their stuff. They're organised but flexible so everything happens but always in a relaxed laid back way. Another highlight is the great people they seem to attract, I've always met people I really like to ride with and travel with in bikestyle groups. The trips I've done with bikestyle have been some of my best memories and I look forward to travelling with them again in the future. Faye GoodyearTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Tour was very well organised and accomodation and food was good with dietary requirements dealt with well. Amazing rides and scenery. Hope to return soon! Highly recommended Michael RoyalTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. To all cycling enthusiasts out there, do yourself a favour and book a cycling adventure with BIKESTYLE TOURS. It is just an amazing experience. I was very much looking forward to the last week of the Tour de France 2025 in the months leading up to event, but when it was actually happening it was so much better than I imagined. Everything about the event was superb. The planning that goes into an event such as this is a credit to Adam and his sensational crew of people on the ground to make it an unforgettable time. I could not fault anything on the tour. They had thought of everything and were flexible and accommodating along the way. Meals, accommodation, cycle routes, transport, bikes and knowledge transfer from the staff were all first class. Being in the French Alps is a majestic experience and to be able to check out the landscape on a bike is incredible. I would like to think I can do something like this again. Having done it once it, it is most tempting to give another tour ago in the not too distant future. Fabulous time!! Michael J Royal Jodie HTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I have just completed the 2022 Giro Tour with Bikestyle. What a fantastic experience. From when I first contacted Adam, we had to battle through covid and lockdown. He was so accommodating and supportive. On the trip he is the perfect tour leader and guide, cool, calm, fun and generous with his time. He is well backed up by ex pro Eric De Clerc, super experienced, interested in talking about his life as a rider but also yours. Diego is Adam’s go to man for Italy, fluent in 4 languages, the most helpful guy who is so passionate about cycling and his country. Bruno was our driver, so good to have Frenchman along. Couldn’t get a better driver but also fun to be around and do anything for you. I achieved my goal of climbing the Stelvio on a brilliant day along with some other fabulous climbs. But more than that, we watched the Giro racing through villages and finally culminating in the arena in Verona with a win to Jai Hindley. Seems Adam can organise anything, weather and a spectacular Giro win too. Thanks guys, can’t recommend you enough. Mike BrookerTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. This was a great trip. There is nothing like doing bucket list climbs in Europe and having all the logistics sorted for you, and a great bunch of people to ride with. This was the 4th Bikestyle trip I’ve been on (each different) and each time on my own. Every time the trips are well organised, the guides are really good (exceptional experience- how often do you get to ride with a 5x TdF finisher!) and the other guests are always ‘likeminded’ and good fun. Thanks BS. dchuffmanTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We just returned from Bikestyle Tours Spectator Tour for the Tour de France. It was an amazing experience and Bikestyle had every aspect of the trip planned to perfection. The transport, the hotels, the dinners, and our two exceptional tour hosts made this trip such a pleasure. We recommend them completely and without qualification! Thank you Bikestyle for the trip of a lifetime!Google rating score: 5.0 of 5, based on 105 reviews

Ride the Lakeside Route to Lausanne: Your First Taste of the Tour
Our first full day on the road connects you directly with the Tour de France Femmes, and what a start it is. From Geneva, we’ll follow a stunning 70 km route along the north shore of Lake Geneva, tracing the stage course toward Lausanne. The ride is rolling and scenic, with about 500 metres of climbing, just enough to wake up the legs while leaving plenty of time to soak in the incredible alpine backdrop.
The road winds through charming lakeside villages and terraced vineyards, revealing the breathtaking Lavaux Terraces, a UNESCO World Heritage site famed for its steep, vine-covered slopes that drop dramatically toward the lake. We’ll stop for coffee in one of the postcard-perfect towns before continuing toward Lausanne, where the excitement builds as we join the crowds lining the barriers for the stage finish.
Our guides will secure a prime viewing spot near the finish line, where you’ll experience the energy of the race up close — the caravan’s fanfare, the cheers of the crowd, and the thrilling rush as the peloton sprints past. After the podium celebrations, we’ll transfer back to Geneva, reflecting on a perfect first day, a mix of riding, race-watching, and lakeside beauty. The evening is free to enjoy at your own pace, perhaps with dinner by the water and a toast to the days ahead.

Climb to the Clouds: Col de Barillette & Geneva Stage Finish
Today blends the thrill of riding and the magic of the race in perfect balance. After breakfast, we’ll roll out from Geneva and head north toward the Jura Mountains, where our challenge awaits, the Col de Barillette, a beautiful, steady climb rising high above Lake Geneva. The road winds through forests and alpine meadows, revealing ever-expanding views toward Mont Blanc as we climb from Switzerland seemingly into the sky.
The 90 km loop features about 1,600 metres of climbing, making it a rewarding but achievable ride. At the summit, we’ll regroup for photos and soak in the sweeping panorama before descending carefully through Gex and along the lakeshore back toward Nyon. After lunch and a short rest, the day shifts from pedals to passion, it’s time to watch the Tour de France Femmes finish in Geneva.
We’ll take our place near the barriers as the excitement builds, the music, the cheering fans, the helicopter above, and the flash of colour as the riders sprint for the line. The energy is contagious, and you’ll feel the buzz long after the podium celebrations wrap up. The evening is free to explore, perhaps with dinner in Geneva’s Old Town or a sunset walk by the glowing Jet d’Eau, the perfect end to a day that captures the very soul of the Tour.

From Lakes to Vineyards: Geneva Start & Beaujolais Arrival
This morning, we ease into the day with a short, scenic spin that bridges the landscapes of the Alps and rural France. Crossing briefly into France, our 55 km loop toward Thonon-les-Bains rolls through quiet country roads and open farmland, with about 400 metres of gentle climbing, just enough to keep the legs fresh and spirits high before the journey south.
Back in Geneva, we’ll join the excitement of a Tour de France Femmes stage start. The square buzzes with energy, team buses lined up, music playing, cameras flashing, and riders warming up on rollers. You’ll be right there among the action, watching mechanics make last-minute tweaks, soigneurs pass bottles, and riders share pre-race smiles before rolling out to the cheers of the crowd.
Once the race departs, we’ll board our comfortable vans and travel south to the Beaujolais region, where rolling vineyards and sunlit hills welcome us to the heart of wine country. After checking in at our hotel, there’s time to relax before we come together for a Beaujolais Dinner, a relaxed evening celebrating regional flavours and, of course, the wines that made this region famous. The Heart of Beaujolais: Ride, Relax & Savour the Moment
This morning unfolds at the gentle pace of the countryside, sunlight on the vines, a soft breeze across the hills, and the quiet promise of another beautiful day on the bike. Our 50 km loop through the Beaujolais Villages offers rolling terrain and around 500 metres of climbing, the kind of route that feels effortless and rewarding all at once.
The roads are quiet and winding, lined with golden-stone villages and endless vineyards, perfect for an unhurried spin. We’ll pause for coffee in a hilltop square, where the scent of baking bread mingles with that of oak barrels from nearby wineries. For those wanting more, an optional extension leads deeper into the southern Beaujolais, while others can cruise back to the hotel to enjoy the relaxed rhythm of rural France.
The afternoon invites leisure, a swim, a nap, or a visit to a local winery to sample the region’s famed cru. With the Tour de France Femmes racing nearby, we may catch live coverage before heading out for the evening. As the sun dips over the vineyards, enjoy dinner at a local auberge or a simple picnic with a glass of Beaujolais, as the hills glow softly under the fading light.

Ride to Belleville: Beaujolais, the Soul of Cycling
Today we chase the race through the rolling vineyards of Beaujolais, where every road feels like it was made for cyclists. We’ll set out early, riding south through sun-drenched wine country toward Belleville-en-Beaujolais, host of today’s Tour de France Femmes stage finish.
Two route options make the day yours to shape: the long route (95 km, 1,500 m of climbing) takes in the Col du Rosier, a climb once featured in the Tour and famous for its wide valley views and flowing descent. The short route (50 km) follows the Saône River, a gentler ride through villages and vineyards with plenty of time to soak up the scenery. Both routes converge near Belleville, where we’ll join the growing crowds and find our prime viewing spot near the finish line.
The village buzzes with festival energy, music, commentary, the smell of local food, and fans waving flags as the riders approach. We’ll refuel with regional specialties and cheer as the peloton sprints for victory, a moment of pure Tour drama in the heart of France. When the podium celebrations end, our vans return us to the hotel for a relaxed evening, a perfect close to a day filled with beauty, energy, and the unmistakable spirit of the Beaujolais.

Welcome to Provence: Ride Among Lavender & Stone Villages
Today we journey south into Provence, where the scenery shifts from lush vineyards to olive groves, lavender fields, and sunlit stone villages. After our morning transfer from Beaujolais, we’ll arrive at our hotel near Nyons or Malaucène, perfectly placed for exploring this iconic cycling region.
In the afternoon, we set out on a 50 km loop with 800 m of climbing, a scenic ride that captures the essence of Provence. The route winds past Vaison-la-Romaine, Puymeras, and the peaks of the Dentelles de Montmirail, blending gentle climbs with panoramic views and the timeless rhythm of rural French life. The Giant of Provence: Conquer Mont Ventoux & Watch the Pros Summit
Today is one for the memory books, a day to ride into legend. From our base in Malaucène, we’ll take on the mighty Mont Ventoux, one of the most revered climbs in all of cycling. The 55 km loop includes around 1,900 metres of climbing, with the mountain’s steady gradients demanding patience, pacing, and determination.
We’ll climb through the forested lower slopes, the road winding ever upward until the trees give way to the famous white limestone moonscape that defines Ventoux’s upper reaches. The air thins, the views expand, and every turn brings that exhilarating mix of fatigue and triumph known only to those who ride this mountain.
At the summit, the atmosphere is unforgettable, fans packed along the barriers, the distant rumble of the caravan, and then the pros appear, battling the same slopes you’ve just conquered. We’ll cheer them on from our vantage point before descending carefully back to our hotel, hearts full and legs content.
This evening, we’ll gather for our Provence Dinner, a relaxed celebration of the day’s achievements. Over local specialties, olive oils, and regional wines, we’ll toast to the spirit of the Tour, the thrill of the climb, and the joy of sharing it all together in Provence.
