Rider and Spectator Tour: Our Tour de France bike tours are ideal for both spectators and cyclists. Our main focus is watching the race and completing the most beautiful rides. Non-cyclists may wish to follow our ride routes too and meet up with the riders along the way, it is a great way for non-cycling partners to share the experience.
This trip also caters to spectators with a keen interest in the Tour de France. We have some side itineraries for non-cyclists to explore Italian and French villages but primarily, our trip follows the excitement and fanfare of the Tour de France.
Rider Options: You don’t have to be an elite cyclist to join us. With our high staff-to-guest ratio, we support different ride options each day – giving you choice. There are our ride extensions for our stronger riders to get more miles and vertical metres. And if you’d like an easier day, or a day off, join our non-cycling itineraries or our easier ride option.
We take the best care of you and your bike. Experienced ride guides support every ride and we have support vehicles fitted with professional bike carriers.

Today presents an opportunity to ride to Pont du Gard just outside of Avignon. This ancient Roman aqueduct bridge in France, part of the Nîmes aqueduct, stands as an engineering marvel. Built without mortar, it spans the Gardon River with three tiers of arches, supplying water to Nîmes. A UNESCO site, it offers historical insight and scenic beauty for visitors.
Following our ride we will head to the Nimes Arena, the finishing line for today’s stage where we will soak up the atmosphere, as riders speed towards the Colosseum of Nimes, capturing the essence of the race’s thrilling energy and marking another highlight in this enthralling Tour de France journey.

Our ride will see us follow along the banks of the Rhône River, we will have a chance to enjoy some flatter terrain today before reaching Pont du Guard. We will return to our hotel bike before getting ready for the Tour de France.

Mont Ventoux “The Giant of Provence”

Today marks our monumental challenge: Mont Ventoux, a legendary Tour de France climb. Begin the ascent from Bedoin, traversing the forest, unveiling the mountain’s rich cycling history. At the summit, relish the surreal moonscape and breathtaking countryside views, an unforgettable moment for all cycling enthusiasts.
As the day winds down, gather for a final evening in captivating Provence. Enjoy a delightful dinner celebrating the region’s culinary delights and warm hospitality, immersing in the vibrant local culture. Reflect on the day’s triumphs and bask in the charm of Provence, a perfect conclusion to an extraordinary day on the bike.
- Ride Mont Ventoux
Officially, the total length is 21.5 km averaging 7.45%. However, the first 7 km is kind, you’ve got to make this up at some point. The gradient starts to increase and is unrelenting but eases a little as you reach Chalet Reynard – 8% gradient never felt so good.
From Chalet Reynar you have a further 6km through Ventoux’s moonscape. Make a stop at the Tom Simpson memorial 900m from the summit.
