Rider and Spectator Tour: Our Tour de France bike tours are ideal for both spectators and cyclists. Our main focus is watching the race and completing the most beautiful rides. Non-cyclists may wish to follow our ride routes too and meet up with the riders along the way, it is a great way for non-cycling partners to share the experience.

This trip also caters to spectators with a keen interest in the Tour de France. We have some side itineraries for non-cyclists to explore Italian and French villages but primarily, our trip follows the excitement and fanfare of the Tour de France.

Rider Options:  You don’t have to be an elite cyclist to join us. With our high staff-to-guest ratio, we support different ride options each day – giving you choice. There are our ride extensions for our stronger riders to get more miles and vertical metres. And if you’d like an easier day, or a day off, join our non-cycling itineraries or our easier ride option.

Indulge in the diverse flavours of Southern Central Massif to Provence, renowned for its delectable wine and cuisine. The trip captures the essence of all things French, leading riders across the French Alps and into the Pyrenees’ challenging alpine passes, winding through Provence’s white rock landscapes and olive groves, culminating near the stunning coastline of Nice.

Our itinerary accommodates both riding and non-riding preferences. Experienced cyclists have the chance to conquer Europe’s most magical roads, conquering more vertical metres. Commencing in the picturesque Auvergne at Laguiole, the journey traverses rolling hills and meandering rivers, offering access to stage starts and finishes.

We’ll follow the race as it makes its way around France, intersecting at iconic spots like the Tourmalet in the Pyrenees, continuing to Provence where we will also take the opportunity to challenge ourselves on the legendary Mont Ventoux. The trip culminates along the scenic Mediterranean coast, where the focus will be the riveting conclusion of the 2024 Tour de France. Following this delightful ride, the afternoon invites exploration of the village, allowing you to immerse yourself in its charming ambiance. Officially, the total length is 21.5 km averaging 7.45%. However, the first 7 km is kind, you’ve got to make this up at some point. The gradient starts to increase and is unrelenting but eases a little as you reach Chalet Reynard – 8% gradient never felt so good. 

From Chalet Reynar you have a further 6km through Ventoux’s moonscape. Make a stop at the Tom Simpson memorial 900m from the summit.

Before the excitement unfolds, we’ll embark on our morning ride, later packing up our bikes to witness the compelling Time Trial. It’s an exhilarating opportunity to witness the riders’ last efforts for victory, promising a gripping spectacle.

Following the stage, we come together for a final Farewell Dinner, celebrating our journey and the incredible experiences shared throughout this exceptional Tour de France adventure. It’s a moment to reflect on the remarkable journey while bidding adieu to the enthralling cycling escapade.
