Our Paris-Roubaix Weekend Tour is designed for cyclists who want to experience the Hell of the North from both the saddle and the roadside. You’ll have the opportunity to ride many of the famous cobbled sectors used in Paris-Roubaix before witnessing the world’s best riders tackle the same roads on race day.

The riding focuses on the iconic pavé sectors and quiet roads of northern France, allowing guests to experience first-hand the challenge, history and character that make Paris-Roubaix one of cycling’s most respected races. While the distances are achievable for most regular cyclists, the cobblestones provide a unique challenge and are a memorable part of the experience.

Non-riding partners and spectators are welcome. They can enjoy race viewing, visit local towns and cafés, experience the atmosphere of the Spring Classics and join the group for meals and social activities throughout the weekend.

This tour is ideal for cyclists and fans who want to immerse themselves in the passion, tradition and excitement of Paris-Roubaix while enjoying the support, logistics and local knowledge provided by the Bikestyle Tours team.

Tour Suitability

Rides: You don’t need to be an elite cyclist to enjoy our Paris-Roubaix Weekend Tour. Our experienced guides and support team cater for a range of riding abilities, ensuring every guest can experience the famous cobbles and race atmosphere in a way that suits their goals and confidence.

The riding is primarily on the quiet roads of northern France, with opportunities to tackle many of the legendary Paris-Roubaix sectors. Guests can choose to ride as much or as little as they like, with support vehicle assistance available throughout the weekend. Whether you’re determined to ride every cobbled sector or simply want to sample the experience before enjoying the race, our team will help you get the most from the tour.

The Paris-Roubaix Challenge provides a unique opportunity to ride the same roads as the professionals. While the distances are manageable for most regular cyclists, the cobbles add an extra level of difficulty that makes the experience both memorable and rewarding.

Challenge Rating: Moderate

The challenge of Paris-Roubaix comes less from climbing and more from the famous cobblestones. Riders should be comfortable spending several hours on the bike and riding over rough road surfaces. The pavé sectors can be physically demanding, but with sensible pacing, support from our guides and vehicle assistance when required, this tour is achievable for most regular cyclists who ride consistently throughout the year.

Why we love Paris-Roubaix

Every year we return to Paris-Roubaix because no other race creates the same feeling. The roads may look simple on television, but standing beside the cobbles or riding them yourself tells a completely different story.

We love watching guests roll out onto sectors they’ve dreamed about for years, feeling every bump and vibration beneath their wheels while imagining what it must be like racing across them at full speed. The atmosphere is raw, authentic and deeply connected to cycling’s history.

The finish inside the Roubaix Velodrome is one of the most iconic moments in professional cycling. Watching the riders emerge from the final cobbled sectors and enter the velodrome never loses its magic.

For us, Paris-Roubaix is more than a race weekend. It’s a celebration of cycling culture, shared experiences and the stories that cyclists continue telling long after they’ve returned home.

Tour Overview

Paris-Roubaix is unlike any other race in professional cycling. There are no mountain passes or summit finishes, just kilometres of rough cobblestones, passionate crowds and one of the toughest challenges in the sport. For cyclists and fans alike, experiencing Paris-Roubaix in person is something special.

Our 2027 Paris-Roubaix Weekend Tour gives you the opportunity to ride many of the famous sectors that have shaped the race’s history. During the Paris-Roubaix Challenge, you’ll tackle legendary sections of pavé including Carrefour de l’Arbre and experience first-hand the skill, strength and determination required to master the cobbles.

Race day delivers a completely different perspective. Standing beside the roads as the world’s best riders battle across the same sectors you’ve ridden creates an appreciation for the race that simply can’t be understood from watching it on television. The atmosphere builds throughout the day before culminating with the iconic finish inside the Roubaix Velodrome.

With experienced Bikestyle Tours guides, full ride support and carefully planned logistics, you’ll be free to focus on the riding, the racing and the incredible atmosphere that makes Paris-Roubaix one of cycling’s most celebrated weekends.

Whether you’re a dedicated Spring Classics fan or ticking off a lifelong cycling ambition, this tour offers a genuine connection to the history, challenge and culture of the Hell of the North.

Race Day Paris-Roubaix

DATE: 11th Sunday, April 2027
LOCATION: Oudenaarde, Belgium

Today, we witness one of the most brutal and beautiful days on the cycling calendar,  Paris-Roubaix, known around the world as the Hell of the North. There is no other race like it. Over 260 kilometres of relentless racing, with nearly 50 of those over bone-rattling pavé, this is a test of strength, skill and spirit like no other.

Legends are made here. Some, like Australia’s own Stuart O’Grady, have emerged covered in dust and glory with a victory in Roubaix’s famed outdoor velodrome. Others, like George Hincapie and Johan Museeuw, have seen their dreams unravel on the unforgiving stones. That is the drama of Paris-Roubaix. It is not just about winning, it’s about surviving the chaos.

We’ve got a big day ahead, starting at the race launch in Compiègne, where the tension and excitement are already in the air. From there, it’s non-stop action as we leapfrog our way along the course, stopping at key cobbled pavé sectors to soak up the electric atmosphere and witness the grit and determination etched on the riders’ faces as they battle to stay upright.

As the race reaches its dramatic climax, we’ll make our way to the iconic Roubaix Velodrome, where the victor will raise their arms in triumph on one of the most historic finish lines in all of cycling. It’s a spine-tingling moment you’ll remember forever.

We’ll cap off this incredible week-end with a farewell dinner, raising a glass to an unforgettable tour, new friendships, and our shared passion for this wild, beautiful sport.
