2027 E3 Saxo Classic One Day – Spectators

26th March, 2027

E3 Saxo Classic, Experience the Flemish Classics Up Close

Experience the 2027 E3 Saxo Classic from the heart of the action on our fully guided one-day spectator tour through Flanders.

Starting with the pre-race atmosphere in Harelbeke, we’ll then follow the race through the Flemish Ardennes, aiming to see the peloton at multiple locations as the world’s best riders tackle the cobbles, bergs and narrow roads that define racing in this part of Belgium.

Our Bikestyle Tours team takes care of the transport, race-day logistics and viewing locations, with race coverage and a picnic lunch along the way.

No bike required, just a great day in Flanders experiencing one of the Spring Classics up close.

This will sit much better beside that image, while still getting E3 Saxo Classic, spectator tour, Flanders, Harelbeke, Flemish Ardennes and Spring Classics into the hero content naturally.

My wife (Ruth) and I joined Bikestyle tours on their 2025 Vuelta Espana Tour. Having had a really positive experience with Bikestyle on the 2011 TdF tour, we were confident that this tour would also be great, but I have to say it exceeded expectations. Firstly, the hotels were exceptional. I can only imagine how hard it was to find suitable accommodation for a group in some of these out of the way regions. The Las Caldas hotel and the Monastery at Santo Estevo were standouts but all of the hotels were great and a step up from our last tour. Secondly, we loved our guides, Eric and Claire. They were truly extraordinary and we were so lucky to have them guide us around. The group on this tour was quite small (only seven people) and so there was even more pressure on them, as they were spending a lot more time in contact with each of us. We thoroughly enjoyed their company, not just as guides but as great people. I was particularly grateful for the extra kindness and attention that Claire showed to Ruth (as the only female rider in the group and who was very self conscious about not wanting to hold people up). Claire did an amazing job of managing a variety of different riding abilities which, in a small group, was much more challenging. Thirdly, the organisation and logistics were great. The whole tour went seamlessly, even with unexpected events such as the protests that occurred. It was also great that Eric was able to wangle us into a team bus and have some contact with the Teams which was very special. There was a very good balance between riding and watching the race in the various locations and we felt that we saw as much of the race as we needed to. All in all, we had a great time. We are already looking ahead for our next one. Thanks again to Adam and the whole team.

Thanks Eric, Claire and the Bikestyle crew for a wonderful La Vuelta trip this year. The itinerary, hotels and group dinners were all first class. Thanks especially to Claire for her support in getting to the top of L’Angliru. Definitely one to tick off the bucket list!

We loved every minute of our recent 2025 La Vuelta trip with my wife attending as a non-riding spectator. Eric & Claire were fantastic guides / friends throughout our Spanish journey with Sue becoming a quasi member of the Bikestyle team. We would highly recommend Bikestyle Tours to anyone considering their 1st cycling tour either as a rider or spectator.

Update: Another great trip in 2025! Update: Tour de France Femmes 2023 was THE BEST. Thanks Adam, Petra, Sophie and especially Alex who rode up Tourmelet 3 times in a day to help us. Photo is Pic de Nore, gorgeous riding. Bikestyle are an absolute pleasure to travel with. Friendly, easy to get on with and really know their stuff. They're organised but flexible so everything happens but always in a relaxed laid back way. Another highlight is the great people they seem to attract, I've always met people I really like to ride with and travel with in bikestyle groups. The trips I've done with bikestyle have been some of my best memories and I look forward to travelling with them again in the future.

To all cycling enthusiasts out there, do yourself a favour and book a cycling adventure with BIKESTYLE TOURS. It is just an amazing experience. I was very much looking forward to the last week of the Tour de France 2025 in the months leading up to event, but when it was actually happening it was so much better than I imagined. Everything about the event was superb. The planning that goes into an event such as this is a credit to Adam and his sensational crew of people on the ground to make it an unforgettable time. I could not fault anything on the tour. They had thought of everything and were flexible and accommodating along the way. Meals, accommodation, cycle routes, transport, bikes and knowledge transfer from the staff were all first class. Being in the French Alps is a majestic experience and to be able to check out the landscape on a bike is incredible. I would like to think I can do something like this again. Having done it once it, it is most tempting to give another tour ago in the not too distant future. Fabulous time!! Michael J Royal

I have just completed the 2022 Giro Tour with Bikestyle. What a fantastic experience. From when I first contacted Adam, we had to battle through covid and lockdown. He was so accommodating and supportive. On the trip he is the perfect tour leader and guide, cool, calm, fun and generous with his time. He is well backed up by ex pro Eric De Clerc, super experienced, interested in talking about his life as a rider but also yours. Diego is Adam’s go to man for Italy, fluent in 4 languages, the most helpful guy who is so passionate about cycling and his country. Bruno was our driver, so good to have Frenchman along. Couldn’t get a better driver but also fun to be around and do anything for you. I achieved my goal of climbing the Stelvio on a brilliant day along with some other fabulous climbs. But more than that, we watched the Giro racing through villages and finally culminating in the arena in Verona with a win to Jai Hindley. Seems Adam can organise anything, weather and a spectacular Giro win too. Thanks guys, can’t recommend you enough.

This was a great trip. There is nothing like doing bucket list climbs in Europe and having all the logistics sorted for you, and a great bunch of people to ride with. This was the 4th Bikestyle trip I’ve been on (each different) and each time on my own. Every time the trips are well organised, the guides are really good (exceptional experience- how often do you get to ride with a 5x TdF finisher!) and the other guests are always ‘likeminded’ and good fun. Thanks BS.

We just returned from Bikestyle Tours Spectator Tour for the Tour de France. It was an amazing experience and Bikestyle had every aspect of the trip planned to perfection. The transport, the hotels, the dinners, and our two exceptional tour hosts made this trip such a pleasure. We recommend them completely and without qualification! Thank you Bikestyle for the trip of a lifetime!

Our E3 Saxo Classic Spectator Tour is designed to give a small group an up-close experience of one of the great Flemish Spring Classics. We take care of the transport, road closures, timing and race-day logistics so you can concentrate on enjoying the racing.

Race Experience

We’ll begin with the pre-race atmosphere in Harelbeke before getting ahead of the peloton and following the race through the Flemish Ardennes. Throughout the day, we’ll aim to see the race at multiple carefully selected locations, experiencing the cobbles, bergs and passionate Belgian crowds that make E3 such a great race to watch.

Hassle-Free Logistics

Following a Spring Classic independently can be challenging, with road closures, narrow roads and large crowds changing how you move around the course. We manage the driving, timing and viewing locations, giving you the opportunity to experience different parts of the race without worrying about how to get there.

Local Knowledge

After many years of taking guests to the Spring Classics, we understand how race day works in Flanders. Knowing when to move, which roads remain accessible and where to position the group helps us make the most of the day and gives you the best opportunity to see the race several times.

Why we love the E3 Saxo Classic One Day Spectator Tour

The E3 Saxo Classic is one of those races that captures everything we love about cycling in Flanders. Narrow roads, cobbled sectors, short, steep bergs and passionate Belgian crowds combine to create racing that rarely settles down for long.

What we particularly enjoy about E3 is the opportunity to follow the race throughout the day. Starting with the atmosphere in Harelbeke, we’ll then get ahead of the peloton and move between carefully selected locations across the Flemish Ardennes. You’ll often hear the race approaching before you see it, then within seconds the riders are past and we’re preparing for the next stop.

E3 also gives you a brilliant taste of the roads and atmosphere that make the Spring Classics so special. With a small group of just seven guests, we have the flexibility to move through Flanders and get close to the action.

For cycling fans, spending a day chasing one of Belgium’s great Classics through Flanders is pretty hard to beat.

Race Day, Chasing the E3 Saxo Classic Through Flanders

DATE: Friday, 26th March 2027
LOCATION: Ghent, Belgium

Get ready for a full day immersed in the E3 Saxo Classic, following the race from the atmosphere of the start in Harelbeke to multiple roadside locations across the Flemish Ardennes.

Morning, Ghent to Harelbeke

Our day begins with a 9.00am collection from Gent-Sint-Pieters Railway Station in Ghent. From here, we’ll travel to Harelbeke and head into the start area as the teams prepare for the race ahead.

There’ll be time to wander among the team buses, see the riders up close and enjoy the atmosphere as they sign on before one of the biggest races of the Flemish Spring Classics gets underway.

Race Start and Our First Viewing Point

Around 20 minutes before the official start, we’ll leave Harelbeke and get ahead of the race, positioning ourselves at our first roadside viewing location.

This will typically be a cobbled sector, giving you an early taste of the speed and noise of the peloton as the race begins to come alive.

Chasing the Race Through Flanders

From here, the chase is on.

We’ll move between carefully selected locations across Flanders, aiming to see the race approximately five times throughout the day, including at least one of the key climbs where the racing traditionally begins to intensify.

Between stops, we’ll follow the live race coverage in the vehicle so you don’t miss what is happening further up the road. We’ll also enjoy a relaxed picnic lunch along the way, with Belgian beer, bubbles, soft drinks and refreshments included.

It’s a great way to experience E3, watching the race develop on screen, getting into position and then hearing the crowds build as the peloton approaches before it races past only metres away.

The Finish in Harelbeke

Later in the afternoon, we’ll make our way back towards Harelbeke, aiming to arrive at the finish around 5.30pm to watch the final kilometres and see the winner crowned.

After a full day following the E3 Saxo Classic through Flanders, we’ll return to Ghent, with our scheduled arrival at Gent-Sint-Pieters Railway Station around 7.00pm.

From the team buses in Harelbeke to the cobbles and bergs of the Flemish Ardennes, this is a full day experiencing the E3 Saxo Classic from inside the action.
