Our exclusively private cycling trip to the Basque country of Spain to explore some of the iconic riding locations in Europe. Our 11-day trip commences in Bilbao, one of Spain’s famous cities. After moving a little further into the Basque country to Durango for a stunning 4-days of cycling through the Basque countryside, we travel to the popular seaside city of San Sebastian for a night stopover before continuing along the coast to Oviedo of Asturias.
We will enjoy a few days of culture and food with some fantastic rides around the area before venturing into the high mountains of Asturias.
Dinner on 2 nights, with wines is included on the first and last night of your trip. Leaving the other nights available for you to make your own reservations at local restaurants in Durango, San Sebastian, and Oviedo.

Group Size: 6 to 14 guests – 3 staff

Social Riding and Leisure: We understand that your cycling holiday is a HOLIDAY! You may not normally ride every day at home. Our ride routes allow you to cherry-pick the sort of riding that you’d like to do. Choose the days you want to climb, the days to ride flat, and the days to rest.

PRICING: Pricing for private groups is based on the agreed minimum number of participants being met at the time of receipt of payment of final invoices by all tour participants. Prices may increase if minimum numbers are not met at the time of final invoicing (90 days prior to the tour departure date). Final pricing will be based on the number of participants at the time of invoicing.

This morning, the staff will meet you at Bilbao airport at 11 a.m. or collect from an approved pre-trip hotel in Bilbao. We will have a short transfer to our hotel in Durango where we stay for 4 nights in a luxurious 4-star hotel.
Tonight, we will enjoy dinner together at our hotel, so that you have a chance to discuss your trip with your trip leaders.

After breakfast, we will transfer to a fantastic location in Asturias, Oviedo. On the way, we have the opportunity to stop in Bilbao and explore the Guggenheim Museum. After our arrival in Oviedo, we will be able to enjoy a couple of easier days before tackling the big mountains.

Sadly, our tour comes to an end. We will transfer our guests to Bilbao Airport for your connecting travel. Bilbao is easily reached from the airport by train, should you wish to stay a few days longer.

Our Giro d’Italia tour covers the final two weeks of the race. Due to the locations it visits, it’s not practical to attend the race for just a day or two. Based on our experience, a two-week duration provides the best Giro experience.
The official route for the 2025 Giro race will be released in early November. However, our tour will cover the final two weeks of racing and will finish on the 2nd of June.
