Scott BuddTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. My wife (Ruth) and I joined Bikestyle tours on their 2025 Vuelta Espana Tour. Having had a really positive experience with Bikestyle on the 2011 TdF tour, we were confident that this tour would also be great, but I have to say it exceeded expectations. Firstly, the hotels were exceptional. I can only imagine how hard it was to find suitable accommodation for a group in some of these out of the way regions. The Las Caldas hotel and the Monastery at Santo Estevo were standouts but all of the hotels were great and a step up from our last tour. Secondly, we loved our guides, Eric and Claire. They were truly extraordinary and we were so lucky to have them guide us around. The group on this tour was quite small (only seven people) and so there was even more pressure on them, as they were spending a lot more time in contact with each of us. We thoroughly enjoyed their company, not just as guides but as great people. I was particularly grateful for the extra kindness and attention that Claire showed to Ruth (as the only female rider in the group and who was very self conscious about not wanting to hold people up). Claire did an amazing job of managing a variety of different riding abilities which, in a small group, was much more challenging. Thirdly, the organisation and logistics were great. The whole tour went seamlessly, even with unexpected events such as the protests that occurred. It was also great that Eric was able to wangle us into a team bus and have some contact with the Teams which was very special. There was a very good balance between riding and watching the race in the various locations and we felt that we saw as much of the race as we needed to. All in all, we had a great time. We are already looking ahead for our next one. Thanks again to Adam and the whole team. Scott ButlerTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Thanks Eric, Claire and the Bikestyle crew for a wonderful La Vuelta trip this year. The itinerary, hotels and group dinners were all first class. Thanks especially to Claire for her support in getting to the top of L’Angliru. Definitely one to tick off the bucket list! Greg TannerTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We loved every minute of our recent 2025 La Vuelta trip with my wife attending as a non-riding spectator. Eric & Claire were fantastic guides / friends throughout our Spanish journey with Sue becoming a quasi member of the Bikestyle team. We would highly recommend Bikestyle Tours to anyone considering their 1st cycling tour either as a rider or spectator. John JohnsonTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. This BikeStlye Tour was a fantastic experience! The staff was extraordinary, the accommodations superb, the scenery beautiful, and cycling challenging. I would do it again in a heartbeat. Craig DavisTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Update: Another great trip in 2025! Update: Tour de France Femmes 2023 was THE BEST. Thanks Adam, Petra, Sophie and especially Alex who rode up Tourmelet 3 times in a day to help us. Photo is Pic de Nore, gorgeous riding. Bikestyle are an absolute pleasure to travel with. Friendly, easy to get on with and really know their stuff. They're organised but flexible so everything happens but always in a relaxed laid back way. Another highlight is the great people they seem to attract, I've always met people I really like to ride with and travel with in bikestyle groups. The trips I've done with bikestyle have been some of my best memories and I look forward to travelling with them again in the future. Faye GoodyearTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Tour was very well organised and accomodation and food was good with dietary requirements dealt with well. Amazing rides and scenery. Hope to return soon! Highly recommended Michael RoyalTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. To all cycling enthusiasts out there, do yourself a favour and book a cycling adventure with BIKESTYLE TOURS. It is just an amazing experience. I was very much looking forward to the last week of the Tour de France 2025 in the months leading up to event, but when it was actually happening it was so much better than I imagined. Everything about the event was superb. The planning that goes into an event such as this is a credit to Adam and his sensational crew of people on the ground to make it an unforgettable time. I could not fault anything on the tour. They had thought of everything and were flexible and accommodating along the way. Meals, accommodation, cycle routes, transport, bikes and knowledge transfer from the staff were all first class. Being in the French Alps is a majestic experience and to be able to check out the landscape on a bike is incredible. I would like to think I can do something like this again. Having done it once it, it is most tempting to give another tour ago in the not too distant future. Fabulous time!! Michael J Royal Jodie HTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I have just completed the 2022 Giro Tour with Bikestyle. What a fantastic experience. From when I first contacted Adam, we had to battle through covid and lockdown. He was so accommodating and supportive. On the trip he is the perfect tour leader and guide, cool, calm, fun and generous with his time. He is well backed up by ex pro Eric De Clerc, super experienced, interested in talking about his life as a rider but also yours. Diego is Adam’s go to man for Italy, fluent in 4 languages, the most helpful guy who is so passionate about cycling and his country. Bruno was our driver, so good to have Frenchman along. Couldn’t get a better driver but also fun to be around and do anything for you. I achieved my goal of climbing the Stelvio on a brilliant day along with some other fabulous climbs. But more than that, we watched the Giro racing through villages and finally culminating in the arena in Verona with a win to Jai Hindley. Seems Adam can organise anything, weather and a spectacular Giro win too. Thanks guys, can’t recommend you enough. Mike BrookerTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. This was a great trip. There is nothing like doing bucket list climbs in Europe and having all the logistics sorted for you, and a great bunch of people to ride with. This was the 4th Bikestyle trip I’ve been on (each different) and each time on my own. Every time the trips are well organised, the guides are really good (exceptional experience- how often do you get to ride with a 5x TdF finisher!) and the other guests are always ‘likeminded’ and good fun. Thanks BS. dchuffmanTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We just returned from Bikestyle Tours Spectator Tour for the Tour de France. It was an amazing experience and Bikestyle had every aspect of the trip planned to perfection. The transport, the hotels, the dinners, and our two exceptional tour hosts made this trip such a pleasure. We recommend them completely and without qualification! Thank you Bikestyle for the trip of a lifetime!Google rating score: 5.0 of 5, based on 105 reviews

Hahndorf and the National Wine Museum
With one day until the Santos Tour Down Under officially kicks off, today is all about enjoying South Australia at a relaxed pace.
After breakfast, we’ll ride into the Adelaide Hills towards Hahndorf, one of our favourite towns in the region. The roads rise steadily out of the city before opening into rolling hills, quiet lanes and classic South Australian scenery. Once in Hahndorf, there will be time to wander the main street, grab a coffee, enjoy a famous strudel or find your own lunch before we make our way back towards Adelaide.
Riders wanting a longer day can ride back to the hotel with our guides, while those who prefer a shorter ride can return by support vehicle.
Later in the afternoon, we’ll shift from cycling country to wine country with a visit to the National Wine Centre of Australia. It’s the perfect way to discover the regions we’ll ride through during the week, from the Adelaide Hills to the Barossa and McLaren Vale, while enjoying a tasting and light food in a relaxed setting.
Tonight, Adelaide will be building towards race week. The teams are in town, the bikes are being prepared and the atmosphere is starting to lift

Tour Down Under kicks off
The wait is over. The Santos Tour Down Under begins today with Stage 1 of the men’s race from Henley Beach to Gumeracha.
We’ll make the most of the race starting so close to Adelaide by riding to Henley Beach in the morning. Here, we’ll take time to walk through the stage start area and soak up the atmosphere as the teams prepare for the first WorldTour stage of the season. There is something special about seeing the riders up close before the flag drops: mechanics making final adjustments, directors giving last instructions and the nervous energy of a race about to begin.
Once the peloton rolls out, we’ll continue our own ride towards the Adelaide Hills, positioning ourselves to see the stage finish in Gumeracha. With three ascents of Checker Hill on the race route, the opening stage is far from a gentle introduction, and the first ochre jersey of the 2027 race could already be hard-earned.
After the stage, the shorter ride option will return to Adelaide by support vehicle. Riders wanting extra kilometres can ride back towards the hotel with our guides, finishing the day with that satisfying downhill run back towards the city.
The evening is free in Adelaide, giving you time to explore the Race Village, enjoy dinner at your own pace or simply relax after the first big day of racing.

Stage 2 - Barossa Race Day
Today the race heads to the Barossa, with Stage 2 starting and finishing in Angaston.
We’ll leave Adelaide early and ride out through some of South Australia’s most rewarding cycling country, using Gorge Road and quieter backroads to reach the Barossa before the heat of the day settles in. The ride itself is a highlight, moving from the edge of the city into open countryside, vineyards and classic rolling terrain.
Our first race viewing point will be around Tanunda, where the Ziptrak sprints will bring speed, noise and intensity to the streets. From there, we’ll continue towards Angaston, where guests can choose how they want to experience the stage. Some may prefer to position near the KOM point and watch the race unfold on the climbs, while others may continue to the finish and enjoy the atmosphere of a Barossa stage finale.
For those wanting a bigger day on the bike, there will be the option to ride back towards Adelaide after lunch. The shorter ride option will transfer back to the hotel by support vehicle after the stage.
Tonight is another free evening in Adelaide. After a day of vineyards, race action and warm roads, it is the perfect chance to enjoy the city’s restaurants and the relaxed summer feel of Tour Down Under week.

Stage 3 - Lobethal & the Corkscrew
Today brings one of the most exciting stages of the week, with the men’s race heading from Lobethal to Campbelltown.
We’ll ride into the Adelaide Hills to reach the stage start in Lobethal, a town that always brings a brilliant atmosphere when the Tour Down Under comes through. After watching the riders roll out, there will be time to grab something to eat before we continue deeper into the race route.
Our plan is to ride towards Basket Range and position ourselves to see the peloton on the climb during their second lap. From there, we’ll continue along the ridge towards the top of Corkscrew Road, one of the most famous and decisive climbs in the Adelaide Hills. Watching the world’s best riders crest the Corkscrew before plunging down towards Campbelltown is one of the great roadside experiences of the Tour Down Under.
After the race has passed, we’ll continue back to Adelaide by bike. For guests wanting a shorter day, there will be the option to see the start in Lobethal, watch the riders again on their second lap and return to the hotel by support vehicle.
This evening we’ll welcome our 5 Day Weekend Tour guests with drinks in Adelaide. It’s a great chance for the whole group to come together before a huge final weekend of racing.

Stage 4 - Glenelg and Victor Harbour
Today marks the beginning of a historic final weekend of racing, with the men’s and women’s pelotons racing on the same course on the same day.
There will be two ways to enjoy the day: riding or spectating.
Riders will roll to Glenelg in the morning for the stage start, where both the men’s and women’s races begin their journey towards Victor Harbor. The 9 Day Tour has already enjoyed a full stage-start walkthrough earlier in the week at Henley Beach, so today is about soaking up the beachside atmosphere before continuing the ride. Guests wanting a shorter day can ride back to the hotel after the start, while a longer loop will be available for those who want extra kilometres.
Spectators will travel to Glenelg by bus to enjoy the stage start atmosphere before continuing south to Victor Harbor for the finish. With both the men’s and women’s races finishing on the coast, this is a huge day of WorldTour racing and a brilliant chance to experience the energy of two pelotons on the same route.
The evening is free in Adelaide, giving you time to enjoy dinner, visit the Race Village or relax after a big day by the coast.

Stage 5 - Willunga Hill
Today is one of the true icons of the Santos Tour Down Under: Willunga Hill.
We’ll start early to beat the traffic and the heat, riding south towards Christies Beach, where the stage begins on the coast. After the start, riders will continue along the coastline and through McLaren Vale towards Willunga Hill, arriving ahead of the race.
Bikestyle Tours will have our hospitality setup waiting on the climb, with shade, cold drinks and a picnic lunch under our marquee. It’s one of the best ways to experience this famous stage: settled in on the climb, surrounded by cycling fans, watching the race build towards one of the most important moments in the battle for the ochre jersey.
With both the men’s and women’s pelotons racing up Willunga Hill, the atmosphere will be electric. The road will be lined with supporters, the noise will build long before the riders appear and the final metres of the climb will feel every bit as dramatic as the racing itself.
After the stage, we’ll transfer back to Adelaide by bus. Riders wanting additional kilometres may have the opportunity to ride back with a guide, although this will depend on conditions and will not include van support.
Spectators will travel by bus to the stage start and then on to Willunga Hill. We’ll aim to get you as close as possible to our hospitality area, although some walking will be required, so comfortable shoes are recommended.
Tonight is free in Adelaide after one of the biggest days of the tour.

Final Stage - Norton Summit and Stirling
The final day of racing takes us back into the Adelaide Hills for what promises to be a thrilling conclusion to the 2027 Santos Tour Down Under.
This morning, riders will have two options. The first option is to ride towards Norton Summit and position near the top of the climb, where we’ll see the race early in the stage before continuing on to Stirling. The second option is to ride more directly towards Stirling via Crafers, arriving with time to enjoy the town, find a coffee and settle in before the race arrives.
If road closures and timing allow, some riders may have the chance to complete part of the race circuit before the professionals arrive. Others may prefer to relax in Stirling, take in the atmosphere and enjoy lunch from one of the many cafés and restaurants in town.
Spectators will travel directly to Stirling by bus to secure a prime position on the barriers. There will be time for coffee, a pastry or a classic Stirling strudel before the race atmosphere builds.
Today we’ll watch the final laps of the men’s race, followed by the women’s race, as the kings and queens in ochre are crowned. Stirling always delivers a fantastic final-day atmosphere, with leafy streets, packed barriers and the tension of a race still waiting to be decided.
After the race, we’ll descend back towards Adelaide and return to the hotel to pack bikes. In the evening, we’ll come together for our Farewell Dinner, celebrating a week of racing, riding and sharing the Tour Down Under memories.
